1. PetZoo.co.uk Safe Shopping Guarantee
All your transactions with PetZoo.co.uk are covered by our security guarantee with three levels of protection:
- Our secure-server software encrypts all your personal information including credit or debit card number, name and address. The encryption process takes the characters you enter and converts them into bits of code that are then securely transmitted over the Internet. In the event of unauthorised use of your credit or debit card, most banks and card issuers either cover all the charges or may limit your liability to just £50.
- If your bank or card issuer holds you liable, Pet Zoo will cover your liability up to £50 provided that the unauthorised use of your credit or debit card resulted through no fault of your own from purchases made at PetZoo. co.uk while using the secure server.
A Few Important Notes:
- This guarantee only applies to credit or debit card purchases made using Pet Zoo's secure server. This guarantee covers a maximum liability of £50.
- In the event of unauthorised use of your credit or debit card, you must notify your card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.
2. Price Increases
Unfortunately suppliers and manufacturers occasionally raise the price of items unexpectedly to cater for inflation or increased production costs. In the event that this occurs we will check with you to see if you still wish to receive the item at the new price. We may, at our discretion, absorb small price increases without passing them on to our clients.
3. Our contract with you
When you place an order to purchase a product from PetZoo.co.uk, we will send you a confirmation e-mail confirming that we've receievd your order, detailing your order in full. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase product(s) which is accepted by us when we e-mail you confirmation that we've dispatched the product(s) to you. That acceptance will be complete at the time we send the Order Dispatched e-mail to you. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed in a Dispatch Confirmation E-mail to have been dispatched do not form part of that contract.
4. Delivery charges
We use fast and cost effective methods to ensure efficient delivery of your order, mainly TNT and Royal Mail. We constantly review our carriers and our delivery rates to ensure we can offer a great delivery service at a competitive price.
5. Returns at Pet Zoo.co.uk
Our 180-day returns guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 180 days of the date you received the item, unopened (with any seals and shrink-wrap intact) and we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item.
We will also be happy to refund the delivery charge if the return is a result of our error. This does not affect your statutory rights.
You can always return items if they are defective. Please note we only accept the return of items that have been opened if they are defective.

7. Updates
As a client, subscriber or competition entrant you will occasionally receive e-mail updates about special offers, new Pet Zoo services and other news. We hope you'll find these updates interesting and informative. But if you'd rather not receive them, let us know by changing your Email Notifications in Your Account.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. The information we learn from clients helps us personalise and continually improve your shopping experience at Pet Zoo.co.uk. We use the information to handle orders, deliver products and services, process payments, communicate with you about orders, products, services and promotional offers, update our records and generally maintain your accounts with us, display content such as Wish Lists and client reviews and recommend merchandise and services that might be of interest to you. We also use this information to improve our store and platform, prevent or detect fraud or abuses of our website and enable third parties to carry out technical, logistical or other functions on our behalf.
